Commonwealth University human resources partners with campus police across 3 campuses for Campus Cupboard Donation Drive

PA (01/13/2025) — Just before winter break began in December, Commonwealth University Human Resources and University Police Departments at Bloomsburg, Lock Haven and Mansfield partnered to hold a Campus Cupboard Donation Drive.

Items including food, personal hygiene products and gift card were donated to each of the campus cupboard food pantry locations for students in need at each campus. Donations were delivered by campus police officers at Bloomsburg and Mansfield and by human resources staff at Lock Haven.

The drive was initiated by Tena Maurer, associate vice president for human resources who approached campus police with the idea. CU human resources is hoping to hold another Campus Cupboard Donation Drive in April.
