WebstaurantStore.Com President David Groff to Keynote ZIPD Business Conference at CU-Bloomsburg
Bloosmburg, PA (11/07/2023) — David Groff, Chief Operating Officer at Clark Associates and President of WebstaurantStore.com, will give the keynote address for Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg's Zeigler Institute for Professional Development Business Conference on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in Carver Hall, K.S. Auditorium.
His talk, "To Gain the Edge, You Must be Willing to Live On It," is free and open to the public.
Groff will discuss the importance of challenging the status quo, pushing ourselves outside our comfort zones, and taking calculated risks. He will share examples of how the willingness to do these things has shaped both the trajectory of Webstaurantstore.com and the career paths of several key team members.
WebstaurantStore is an online restaurant supply company based in Lititz. Groff has overseen the growth of WebstaurantStore.com from just three employees at launch in 2004 to over 5,000 employees and $3.4 billion in revenue today.
Clark Associates is a leader in the food service industry through equipment, supplies, and service. Before joining Clark Associates 20 years ago, Groff graduated from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University, majoring in Logistics. Passionate about bringing some of the lessons learned in business to the world of education, Dave and his wife, Melissa, started a private school, Solvit Academy, in 2020.
