Thought leaders meet at CU-Clearfield to discuss training opportunities for students

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (12/11/2024) — Thought leaders recently met at Commonwealth University-Clearfield to discuss the education-workforce equation - how to expand and create training opportunities that prepare students for quality jobs and to meet employer's regional workforce needs.

Courses, training programs, apprenticeships and stackable credentialing need to be accessible to all learners and through a shared process to assure sustainability and scalability. Current workforce challenges bring an opportunity to work together and this will be the continued conversation.
