Soon-to-be graduates honored during First World celebration

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (12/11/2024) — Eyes are now set on the commencement stage for this group of Class of 2024 members who were recently honored during the fall semester's First World Graduation Ceremony by Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg's Office of Multicultural Affairs.

The bi-annual First World ceremony is celebrated at the end of the fall and spring semesters to congratulate the achievements - academic and leadership - of Bloomsburg's multicultural students at the baccalaureate and graduate degree levels.

First World Graduates include Hakeem Bacon, of Chester; Olivia Carter-Cabrera, of Philadelphia; Hecenit Cruz, of Columbia, Pennsylvania; Shamall Joseph, of Philadelphia; Jordan Rivers, of Philadelphia; and Claire Thomas, of Lancaster.
