Media Advisory: CU-Bloomsburg to Observe National Speech-Language-Hearing Month
Bloomsburg, PA (04/27/2026) — The Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic will observe National Speech-Language-Hearing Month on Friday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Centennial Hall, third floor. There will be free hearing, balance, and cognitive screenings, educational games, and refreshments. The Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adults with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders. All clinical services are provided by graduate students in the speech-language pathology and audiology programs under the supervision of our clinical supervisors, who are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of Pennsylvania Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
