MEDIA ADVISORY: Commonwealth University Students to Move-In at 3 Locations
PA (08/15/2023) — *President, leadership, and new students available for interviews/images at variety of opening events
Move-in day is coming for Commonwealth University students and their families at its Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield locations.
Students and their families will be welcomed by leadership, faculty, and staff at each location this week.
Events at each location for media include:
Bloomsburg:
Wednesday, Aug. 16
Students and their families will be available for brief interviews and photos. Leadership can be made available for interviews. Media parking available at Arts and Administration Building.

Lock Haven:
Thursday, Aug. 17, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Smith Hall front entrance
President Bashar Hanna and several student leaders will host a lemonade stand for students and their families as they move in. Academic leadership and students and their families will be available for brief interviews and photos. President Hanna will be available at 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 12:45 p.m. Media parking available at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center upper visitor lot. Come in main entrance to the McCloskey Suite for a parking pass.

Mansfield:
Friday, Aug. 18
There will be a Convocation at 11 a.m. in Straughn Auditorium and a picnic on Straughn Drive immediately following the 2023 class photo. Leadership and students can be made available for interviews.
