MEDIA ADVISORY: Commonwealth University Nursing Students to Share Valentines with Seniors

Only one event will be held today, Feb. 14.

Bloomsburg, PA (02/14/2024) — Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg Nursing Students from the Breiner School of Nursing will share Valentine's cards and fun activities with senior citizens throughout the Susquehanna Valley this week.

The students working in an initiative called Nurses Lead with HEART (Humility, Empathy, Authenticity, Resilience, Tenacity), have created hundreds of Valentine's cards to share with senior citizens.

Commonwealth University nursing students will be at the following locations.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bloom Towers, Bloomsburg
  • Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Lincoln Towers 201 West Mulberry Street, Shamokin
  • (Canceled) Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m., Grandview Nursing Home, Danville
  • Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 12:30 p.m., Maria Joseph Manor Community, Danville
