MEDIA ADVISORY: Commonwealth University-Mansfield to Hold Faculty Recital
Mansfield, PA (09/14/2023) — Commonwealth University-Mansfield will hold a faculty recital on Saturday, Sept. 16 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Steadman Theater.
Performers include Mansfield music faculty members Dr. Alissa Rose, soprano; Jordan Schreiner, tenor; and Dr. Eun-Joo Kwak, piano.
The trio will perform music ranging from the Baroque to contemporary, from an aria from an opera composed in 1735 to a song cycle completed in 2018. The program will include English, Italian, French and Spanish pieces including music by George Frederic Handel, Blas Galindo, Manuel Ponce, Franz Liszt, Jules Massenet, Florence Price, Giuseppe Verdi, Felix Mendelssohn and Robert Paterson.
The performance is free and open to the public.
