Media Advisory: Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg Police to Host Active Shooter Training

Bloomsburg, PA (01/09/2026) — The Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg Police Department will host active shooter training on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 12 and 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Approximately 30 law enforcement officers will participate in the interactive training in Bakeless Center. The training, conducted by the FBI's Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training program, will include simulated munitions.
