Mansfield to Host Music Spend-a-Day on Oct. 6

MANSFIELD, PA (09/17/2025) — Commonwealth University-Mansfield invites high school juniors and seniors interested in studying music to attend the Spend-A-Day program on Monday, Oct. 6, at 9:30 a.m.

This one-day experience is ideal for prospective students who wish to major or minor in a music program or who simply want to stay engaged in music during their college years.

Participants will attend classes with current Mansfield music students, tour campus, eat lunch at Manser Dining Hall, and take a private lesson. The event also offers opportunities to audition for music major acceptance and early scholarship consideration.

Instant admission decisions will be available for students who submit a completed application with transcripts and test scores during the event.

CU-Mansfield offers programs in instrumental and vocal music performance, music education, and music technology along with several ensemble opportunities.

More information and registration is available at commonwealthu.edu/music.
