CU-Mansfield to host 14th Annual Showcase of Student Scholarship
MANSFIELD, PA (04/23/2024) — Commonwealth University-Mansfield will host the 14th Annual Showcase of Student Scholarship on Friday, April 26 from 12:30-4:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall, third floor.
The event, free and open to the public, celebrates the scholarly achievements of CU-Mansfield students through visual and oral presentations, demonstrating student research, class projects and student creativity in all disciplines.
This year's event will feature 52 presenters, spanning multiple disciplines. Several Mansfield alumni will also be in attendance.
Poster presentation active sessions will be from 1-3 p.m. and on display from noon to 4:30 p.m. in Alumni 307. Oral presentations will occur in Alumni 317, first session will be from 12:30-1:15 p.m. and the second session will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Art and media exhibit active session will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m. and on display from noon to 4:30 p.m. in the corridor outside of Alumni 307. There will be a poetry reading from 3-3:30 p.m. in Alumni 317 and a social hour and awards will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Alumni 307. Live musical performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Steadman Theatre. Light snacks will be provided at 2 p.m. in Alumni 307.
