CU-Lock Haven to Host Women's History Month Event, 'Let Her Voice Be Heard'
LOCK HAVEN, PA (03/11/2024) — Commonwealth University-Lock Haven will host the event, "Let Her Voice Be Heard," on Thursday March 28, in honor of Women's History Month. The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Willis Health Professions Greenberg Auditorium, room 105.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will include live readings, an announcement of the President's Award for Distinguished Work in the Advancement of Women's Issues nominees and winners and the winners of the Virginia Martin Gender Issues Essay Contest.
Refreshments will be served. The event is sponsored by the Writing, Reading and English Club; the Commission on the Status of Women and the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies department.
