CU-Bloomsburg to Present Dance Minor Concert on the Quad

Bloomsburg, PA (04/25/2024) — Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg will present its 13th Annual Dance Minor Concert, "When Movement Satiates," on Monday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m. on the campus's Academic Quad. The rain date will be Wednesday, May 1, at 1:30 p.m.

"When Movement Satiates" will feature five original dance pieces, with themes ranging from moving on from old relationships and life obstacles to abstract movement works. Featured music will include classical baroque, Brazilian, chant music, and the jazz stylings of Frank Sinatra and the Aranbee Pop Symphony Orchestra. Choreography for the concert is created by New York-based artist, Dr. Marija Krtolica, dance minor alumni Emel Rasim and Emma Sperr, current students Cyal Nelson and Britney Deputy, and Professor Julie Petry.
