Commonwealth University-Lock Haven to host spring band and choir concert
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (04/27/2026) — The Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Concert Band will host its spring concert on Thursday, May 7, at 7 p.m. in the Price Auditorium. Also performing at the concert will be the Jazz Band Club and the Choir Club.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature jazz standards, a cappella and recognizable concert band pieces. The Jazz Band will perform "Moondance, "L-O-V-E," "I Can't Get Started" and "Take the 'A' Train. The Choir will perform "Birds of a Feather," by Billie Eilish; "Take Me Home," by Pentatonix; and "Time," by Jennifer Lucy Cook. The Concert Band will perform "Emperata Overture," "Loch Lomond," American Riversongs," "With Quiet Courage," and "The Great Rubber Chicken Gallop."
