Commonwealth University-Lock Haven to host comedian Ryan Erwin
LOCK HAVEN, PA (03/15/2024) — Commonwealth University-Lock Haven will host comedian Ryan Erwin on Wednesday, Apr. 3 from 7-8 p.m. in the Sloan Auditorium on campus.
Erwin describes himself as "sassy and gassy" and his first comedy special Vertical Claps is streaming with Dry Bar Comedy. He recorded his debut comedy album "Thank you, Thank you" with Helium Records and it debuted at No. 2 on iTunes Charts.
Originally from Utah, he got his start at Wiseguys Comedy Club where he worked with greats like Fortune Feimster and Tom Papa. He performs at college campuses and corporate events across the nation.
In his comedy, he talks about being raised Mormon by two deaf parents, his time spent as a middle school drama teacher and himself as a gay man. A reception and meet-and-greet will follow the show.
The show, free and open to the public, is presented by the CU-Lock Haven Gender and Sexuality Alliance Club and the Commission on LGBTQ Affairs.
