Commonwealth University-Clearfield to offer fall healthcare certification courses
CLEARFIELD, PA (09/03/2024) — Commonwealth University-Clearfield will hold four different certification courses this fall, all focused on the healthcare field. Courses begin soon and space is limited.
Courses include:
- Clinical medical assistant - This course will be held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 10 through Dec. 17, 6-9:30 p.m. and will offer 140 classroom hours and 160 clinical hours. Tuition for the course is $2,699.
- Medical billing and coding - This course will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from Sept. 23 through Dec. 11, 6-9:30 p.m. and will offer 80 classroom hours. Tuition for the course is $1, 999.
- Phlebotomy technician - This course will be held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from Oct. 8 through Dec. 12, 6-9:30 p.m. and will offer 90 classroom hours and 40 clinical hours. Tuition for the course is $1,899.
- Medical admin assistant - This course will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from Oct. 21 through Dec. 11, 6-9:30 p.m. and will offer 50 classroom hours and 40 clinical hours.
