Commonwealth University-Clearfield to host community Easter egg hunt

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (04/01/2025) — Commonwealth University-Clearfield will hold a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 12, on campus at 201 University Dr.

There will be five hunt areas based on age with 500 eggs per group. Age groups are 0-2 years (starting at noon), 3-5 years (starting at 12:05 p.m.), 6-9 years (starting at 12:10 p.m.), 10-12 years (starting at 12:15 p.m.) and special needs/sensory friendly (starting at noon).

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Hunt areas 0-2 and 3-5 are permitted to have one guardian or helper. The special needs/sensory friendly area may have 1-2 helpers and will include grass and wheelchair-friendly paved areas.

Start times will be staggered to allow parents with multiple children to move from one area to another.

Participants will keep the contents of their eggs, although all eggs must be returned to be cleaned and recycled for next year. There also will be additional prize opportunities, including special eggs and a door prize. Eggs may contain possible allergens and hard objects.

The event will be held rain or shine. Coffee and other drinks will be available for purchase from Perky Pup Coffee Co.
