Commonwealth University-Clearfield to host community Easter egg hunt

CLEARFIELD, PA (03/12/2024) — Commonwealth University-Clearfield will hold a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 23, 201 University Dr. Registration will begin at 1 p.m., with the first hunt scheduled to begin around 1:10 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine.

There will be five hunt areas based on age with 500 eggs per group. Age groups are 0-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-9 years, 10-12 and special needs/sensory friendly. Hunt areas 0-2 and 3-5 are permitted to have one guardian or helper. The special needs/sensory friendly area may have 1-2 helpers and will include grass and wheelchair-friendly paved areas.

Start times will be staggered to allow parents with multiple children to move from one area to another.

Participants will keep the contents of their eggs, although all eggs must be returned to be cleaned and recycled for next year. There also will be additional prize opportunities, including special eggs and a door prize.

Participants also will have a chance to take a photo with the Easter Bunny.
