Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg to Present Carols By Candlelight Concert

BLOOMSBURG - PA (11/25/2024) — The Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg choirs will present their annual Carols by Candlelight concert on Thursday, Dec. 5, and Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. each night at First Presbyterian Church, 345 Market St., Bloomsburg. Free admission and open seating. Doors open each night by 6:30 p.m.

The show features a festive mix of sacred and secular music of the holiday seasons amid Christmas trees and candlelight.

The Concert Choir and Husky Singers are directed by Alan Baker. The Golden Voices are directed by Amelia Garbisch. A variety of students majoring in music will also conduct. Music alumnus Chris Malocheski will provide organ preludes starting at 7:10 p.m. and accompany the audience singing carols throughout the evening.
