Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg Students Receive Alumni Legacy Scholarships
PA (01/30/2025) — The Bloomsburg Alumni Association has announced the 2025 Alumni Legacy Scholarship recipients.
The association awards the scholarships each year to current CU-Bloomsburg students who are a child or grandchild of a Bloomsburg University graduate. The scholarship has been a longstanding tradition of the Bloomsburg Alumni Association Board of Directors and has provided over $260,000 in scholarships since 1998. Bloomsburg alumni can enter their child or grandchild every fall when their student is registered for spring classes at the university. All students are chosen via random drawing and the entry link can be found at commonwealthu.edu/alumni.
The ten recipients of the scholarships will have $1195 applied to the balance of their spring 2025 tuition. Recipients include:

- Elijah Tinnin '28 of Trevorton, submitted by Jeffery Persavage '87
- Riley Poticher '27 of Riverside, submitted by Cory Cowles Poticher '95
- Jordyn MacCollum '28 of Drums, submitted by Francine Powell Reyes '95
- Samantha Scheibley '28 of Tremont, submitted by Pamela Thomas Scheibley '91
