Bloomsburg, PA (02/14/2024) — The Bloomsburg University Foundation, in collaboration with Commonwealth University (CU) - Bloomsburg, is thrilled to announce the commencement of the 2024 grant application cycle for the Community Impact Fund. This initiative aims to support projects that will make a positive difference in the community throughout the year 2024, offering a maximum award of $5,000.

Non-profit organizations are invited to participate by forming partnerships with the University, involving its faculty or students in their projects. The deadline for submitting applications is March 29.

The Bloomsburg University Foundation's Community Impact Fund focuses on financing student professional experience projects that contribute to the well-being of the community. Geared towards activities that benefit the Town of Bloomsburg and communities across Columbia County, eligible funding requests may encompass various areas, such as supporting marketing initiatives for non-profits, facilitating engagements within specific fields of study, and more.

All applications will undergo a thorough review process led by a dedicated committee. This committee includes representatives from CU-Bloomsburg, the Bloomsburg University Foundation, the Columbia County Commissioners, and the Town of Bloomsburg. Your innovative projects have the potential to create a lasting impact, and we look forward to receiving your applications.
