Bloomsburg Homecoming Parade Returns
Bloomsburg, PA (09/28/2026) — After a seven-year absence, the Bloomsburg Homecoming Parade will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The parade, a collaboration between Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg, the Bloomsburg Area School District, the Town of Bloomsburg, and Downtown Bloomsburg Inc., will assemble at 10 a.m. at the parking lot on Lightstreet Road. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and move from Lightstreet Road, turning onto Penn Street to Carver Hall, then moving onto Main Street and Market Street, and finishing at Town Park.
Event highlights of CU-Bloomsburg's Homecoming Celebration include:
- Journey Bank Arts in Bloom performance by Eddie 9V, Friday, Oct. 23, 7:30 p.m., Pettit Center for the Arts. A Georgia-based musician, Eddie 9V delivers an electrifying blend of traditional blues, Southern soul, and rock. Purchase tickets at artsinbloom.vbotickets.com/events.
- Homecoming Field Hockey Game vs. Slippery Rock, Saturday, Oct. 24, noon, Steph Pettit Stadium.
- Homecoming Football Game vs. Millersville, Saturday, Oct. 24, 2 p.m., Danny Hale Field at Redman Stadium.
- Homecoming Women's Soccer Game vs. Millersville, Saturday, Oct. 24, 4 p.m., Steph Pettit Stadium.
