Commonwealth University Workforce Development to Hold CNC Machinist Pre-Apprentice Training
Lock Haven, PA (07/25/2023) — Commonwealth University Workforce Development has partnered with Keystone Central Career and Technical Center to offer four pre-apprenticeship training opportunities. The training sessions will be offered during the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semester at the KCSD Career and Technical Center, 64 Keystone Central Dr., Mill Hall.
Participants who complete any three of the four classes will receive a CNC Machinist Pre-Apprentice Certificate from Keystone Central Career and Technical Center. Classes will meet in person with a certified instructor one evening per week, 4-hour duration, for 10 weeks.
Students will be given the opportunity to test programs utilizing simulators. All resources will be included. Attendance and performance standard required. Students are encouraged to bring a flash drive to store their work.

- July 31 through Oct. 11
- CNC Lathe G and M Code Programming
- Oct. 16 through Dec. 20
- MasterCam 2D Milling
- Jan. 9 through March 13, 2024
- MasterCam Lathe
- March 18 through May 22, 2024
